Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Evntra mobile application (the "App") and the evntra.in website (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, you must not use Evntra.

Who we are

Evntra is operated from India. For questions about these Terms, to report a violation, or to appeal an action, contact us at founder@evntra.in.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Evntra. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide during registration is accurate. If we determine that a minor has created an account, we will delete it.

Your account

• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials and OTPs private.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One person, one account. Creating duplicate, fake, or automated accounts is prohibited.
• You may not sell, transfer, or share your account.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

The following are strictly forbidden on the Service:

• Nudity, sexually explicit or suggestive content in photos, messages, bios, or prompts.
• Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, or intimidation of any kind.
• Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, caste, disability, or national origin.
• Content that promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, terrorism, or illegal activity.
• Content involving or targeting minors in any capacity.
• Drug promotion, weapons, exploitation, or human trafficking.
• Impersonation, catfishing, fake profiles, or misleading identity claims.
• Spam, advertising, unsolicited commercial messages, or MLM/pyramid schemes.
• Sharing another person's private information without their consent.
• Any content that is deceptive, defamatory, unlawful, or that endangers the safety of others.

Content standards and filtering

All content you submit to Evntra — profile photos, cover photos, verification selfies, bios, prompts, messages, event listings, and any other user-generated content — must comply with applicable laws and our Community Guidelines. Photos are automatically screened for explicit, sexual, or violent content by our moderation systems before they are published. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts at our sole discretion when a violation is identified.

Reporting, blocking, and 24-hour response

You have the tools to protect yourself and to help us keep Evntra safe:

• Report — tap the Report button on any user profile, event, or chat to flag objectionable content or behaviour. Reports are anonymous — the reported user is never told who reported them.
• Block — instantly block any user from their profile. Blocking is silent to the other user, removes existing connections, and deletes direct chats.
• 24-hour response — our safety team reviews every report within 24 hours and takes action — content removal, warning, suspension, or permanent ban — where a violation is confirmed.
• Appeals — if you believe an action was taken against your account in error, email founder@evntra.in.

Suspension and termination

Evntra reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Serious violations — including sexual content, harassment, threats, illegal activity, or content involving minors — result in immediate permanent removal without warning. Terminated users are not permitted to create new accounts on the Service.

User interactions and safety off-platform

Evntra facilitates connections but does not vet, endorse, or supervise interactions that occur outside the Service. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, including in-person meetings. We encourage you to meet in public places, tell a friend or family member, and follow the safety tips in our Community Guidelines. Evntra is not liable for any acts or omissions of other users.

Intellectual property

Evntra, the Evntra logo, and all Service-related content, software, and design are the property of Evntra and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you post but grant Evntra a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute your content within the Service in order to operate and improve it.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evntra disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evntra will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of the Service or from any interaction with other users, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. If we make material changes, we will notify active users via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
