You can permanently delete your Evntra account and the personal data we hold about you at any time. Here's how.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
The fastest way. Takes less than a minute.
Open the Evntra app and sign inUse your usual phone number, Google, or Apple login.
Go to Profile → SettingsTap your profile tab, then the gear icon in the top-right.
Scroll to "Delete Account"It's at the very bottom of Settings, in red.
Confirm deletionYou'll be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, deletion begins immediately and is irreversible.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't sign in to the app (e.g. lost phone), email us at
founder@evntra.in from the email address on your account, or include your registered phone number. Subject:
"Account deletion request".
We will verify ownership and delete the account within 30 days.
Account identifiers — phone number, email, OAuth links to Google/Apple, device tokens for push notifications.
Activity data — events you marked as attending, connections you made, messages you sent (for the other party, messages are anonymised to "Deleted user").
Organiser data — if you registered a business, the organisation record, PAN/GST details, and any events you created.
Storage — all images you uploaded to our servers.
What is retained (and why)
Aggregate analytics — de-identified counters (e.g. "total events in city X") with no link back to you.
Financial records — for organiser accounts, transaction records required by Indian tax law are kept for 7 years (standard accounting retention).
Safety logs — if you were subject to a safety-related report prior to deletion, the report record is retained to protect other users.
Backups — your personal data remains in our encrypted database backups for up to 30 days before being purged. During this window it is not accessible in any live service.
Timeline
Immediate — your account is disabled, you're signed out everywhere, your profile no longer appears to other users.
Within 30 days — personal data purged from all live systems.
Within 30 days — personal data purged from backups.
Deletion is permanent. There is no recovery option — if you sign up again with the same phone or email, it creates a new account with no connection to the deleted one.
